Its always safer to have an underlying non-imigrant visas such as H-1B in the vent of I-485 denial due to some unforeseen circumstances. IF you have an H-1B, you can continue to stay in the U.S.

i am in the process of doing it..
u just have restart the whole process!..but u should have an approved 140 on Eb3..!
some ppl here may think its unethical or its cheating..but i think..the PD is a measure of the who is ahead in the line...not category..;-)

this is a standard reply when we enquire about a case.
I had enquired about 140 and got the same message. Then took an infopass and there the IO told there is nothing at 140 level and what I got is a standard reply .

Just relialized I may be influenced by my own zipper picture (http://www.dphoto.us/forumphotos/data/876/ZipItBlack_2806.jpg)... I guess it shows how my brain is pre-programmed for certain patterns. :)
